Collage
Linda’s collages are built in layers, combining hand-felted Joomchi paper with found objects gathered from nature and everyday life. Twenty years as a floral designer shaped her eye for color and composition, and it shows in how each piece balances texture, shape and depth.
Some works, like Textures of the Forest and Autumn Collage, draw directly from the Montana landscape. Others, like Chaotic Connections and Disconnected Blues, play with tension and pattern. Because Joomchi paper is so strong and flexible, it can be torn, layered and shaped in ways ordinary paper cannot. Each collage is an original.
