Beginning Joomchi
October 11th, 1:00-3:00pm

Joomchi is a Korean technique for wet felting multiple layers of mulberry paper. This process turns paper into a fabric like material that has endless possibilities. From clothing, bags, sculpture, collage, lanterns and so much more it is very versatile. In this two hour class you will learn about the history, techniques and applications of Joomchi. Students will create a piece of original and unique material. Class includes all materials.

As autumn rolls into the Valley, I’m opening my studio doors as Tour Stop #14 for the upcoming Artists Along the Bitterroot November Studio Tour & Art Sale. Mark your calendars for the first weekend of November—Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
When you pull up to Stop #14, you’ll get an insider’s look at my space and process. I’ll be running live demonstrations throughout the weekend, sharing my techniques, and showcasing new original artwork.
